AN ELEGANCE expert has shared the ten items you must avoid if you want to look stylish.
So with Christmas fast approaching, if you are thinking of asking your loved ones for a designer bracelet, or a luxury pair of shoes, you’ll need to listen up before your write your list.
Level Blue took to social media to share her thoughts on the ‘tasteless’, ‘tacky’ and ‘cheesy’ trends that she’s fed up with seeing – including a jewellery brand that Molly-Mae Hague is a big fan of.
Sharing her thoughts online, Level Blue explained: “10 luxury things elegant ladies never buy.
“Chanel earrings or brooches, Gucci belts, Louis Vuitton bags.
“These luxury items are usually bought by lower to middle class in an attempt to appear rich.

“It is not cheap, yet so many people have it. It comes across as desperate, ‘look at me, I have this designer item.'”
She then shared her thoughts on Cartier Love bracelets – which both Meghan Markle and Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague wear.
She said: “Cartier Love bracelets – especially never stack those with lots of other bracelets.
“It is very much overdone at this point. It is borderline cheesy.
“You will never see a high society, sophisticated lady wearing a love bracelet.
“It is more of a Instagram influencer and new money look.”
Not only this, but Level Blue then shared her thoughts on designer shoes, as she continued: “Ridiculous designer shoes that are very short lived trends like Bottega Veneta sandals, this pair of Jordan and Dior collab, Jimmy Choo.
“These tend to be so overpriced and you can only wear it for one season.
“It is the silliest way to waste your money.
“If you invest in more premium shoes, make sure it is something that you can wear for a few years without it going out of fashion.”
That’s not all, as Level Blue also explained that she isn’t a fan of fur coats or hats, or designer homeware items.
She concluded: “A full fur coat or full fur hat. These are some of the most tone death items you can possibly wear.
“It makes you come across as ignorant and doesn’t actually impress anybody.
“Pillows and blankets with loud designer branding, like a Gucci blanket with logos all over it or a Prada throw pillow.
“I understand that people who buy it and especially show it on social media are trying to make a statement, but the truth is, it is not a good statement.
“In fact, it comes across as tacky and tasteless. I always say it and I always will, just because something is designer or expensive doesn’t mean it is elegant or tasteful.
“Elegance is a lot more refined.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @level_blue, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as at the time of writing, after just 18 hours after the video went live, it has quickly amassed a whopping 573,500 views.
Social media users were eager to agree with Level Blue and took to the comments to express this.
One person said: “I’m on board with absolutely every single word you said in this TikTok.”
Another added: “Love your page , you speak the truth.”
A third commented: “Someone finally said it.”
Whilst someone else admitted: “So glad I can’t afford any of it. Am happy using my money to travel and eat instead.”
Meanwhile, another chimed in: “Am glad I am not flashy, being minimal is a super.”
