But it’s worth noting that horses have a longstanding fashion connection, with top models, like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, frequently expressing their preference for spending time with their equine companions over anyone else. Dakota Johnson’s latest look demonstrates a luxurious spin on the horse-girl look.

Spotted: Dakota looking chic at a glamorous luncheon in The Plaza hotel on New York’s prestigious Fifth Avenue. Her attire read: stylish horse enthusiast, perhaps with a substantial net worth. The ensemble featured Gucci separates, including a white button-up shirt elegantly tucked into black high-waisted leather trousers, a brown single-breasted wool jacket and a black leather Horsebit chain shoulder bag – currently the It-bag of the moment. Dakota completed her look with black leather Christian Louboutin ankle boots, as well as gold jewellery pieces from Monica Vinader and Tiffany & Co.

The Princess of Wales marked a royal first on Wednesday, visiting the 1st The Queen’s Dragoon Guards for the first time as Colonel-in-Chief of the regiment.

Stepping out in Norfolk, Princess Kate, 41, surprised in an all-black outfit consisting of sleek trousers, fitted turtle-neck knitwear and a silhouette-skimming blazer.

Her monochrome dressing was a rare sartorial move for the royal, considering entirely black outfits are usually reserved for periods of mourning.

With nothing but a symbolic red poppy brooch pinned to her lapel adding a pop of colour, the Princess’ unusual single-toned ensemble was a rare change from her usual rainbow dressing.

According to Matthew Storey, curator at Historic Royal Palaces, “mourning dress has been part of European royal culture for centuries, but it reached its peak in the 19th century with the influence of Queen Victoria.”

He told the Telegraph: “Widows were required to wear black, then either white or mauve, for at least three years before being able to return to richly coloured clothing.”

While it’s not said to be strictly enforced, royal etiquette dictates that black is reserved for mourning periods only. It’s incredibly rare to see a royal lady wearing an entirely monochrome outfit during an official daytime engagement.

RITA Ora led the A-list arrivals at Vogue World London tonight.

The Brit singer, 32, turned heads as she hit the red carpet with the fashion elite for the spectacular fundraiser in the West End.

Among the guests were Princess Eugenie, 33, Kate Winslet, 47, Victoria Beckham, 49, and Brit actress Jodie Turner-Smith, 37 — whose get-up left little to the imagination.

Others at the fashion mag’s extravaganza included US singer Dove Cameron, 27, and Brit actresses Daisy Edgar-Jones, 25, and Simone Ashley, 28.

Brit rapper Stormzy was the headline performer at the packed 2,000-seater Theatre Royal.

Fellow Brit FKA Twigs, 35, did a cover of Opus III’s It’s a Fine Day, while Scottish star Annie Lennox, 68, sang her 1983 hit Sweet Dreams.

Actors Damien Lewis, 52, and James McAvoy, 44, also appeared on stage.

The sparkling event — dubbed the UK’s answer to New York’s Met Gala — was raising cash for the performing arts.

It was masterminded by an international Vogue team led by Anna Wintour.

She said: “The arts are under threat in the UK and Vogue World will be a timely reminder of how important they are, how vital a part of our lives, and how much they need our support.”

4 Elegant and Effortless Day-to-Night Outfits

Have you ever wondered what to wear when going from day to evening? As a magazine editor, I often had to go to parties or fashion events right after work, and I used to stress about what to wear — until I finally came up with an “easy evening uniform” based on dressing monochromatically.

Dressing monochromatically or tonally (in other words, wearing shades in the same color family) is my favorite “out the door in 10 minutes” outfit solution. It’s also a stealthy figure-flattery trick. Matching the color of your top and bottom creates a long, unbroken vertical line that can make you appear taller and slimmer. When dressing tonally, just remember to put the darker clothing item where you want to minimize your proportions.

For evenings out, I have turned to this formula over and over again: Sweater + pants + heels + small bag + jewelry. It’s a comfortable, elegant look for a date night, cocktails, dinner at a friend’s house, a gallery opening or the theater.

If you are going out straight from work or a daytime meeting, stick to neutral colors. They make the transition from day to night more easily and always look more expensive than brights, with a quick change of accessories.

One crucial styling tip: Use textural contrasts and shine to enliven your outfit. If you pair a flat knit with wool pants, you may want to go for a metallic shoe or bag and sparkly jewelry. If your sweater is textured (such as an open-weave or a shaker-knit), that adds to the visual interest.

Your accessories are what make the outfit evening-appropriate. Switch your daytime shoe for a heeled sandal or slingback to elevate your style — and to enhance the lengthening effect of your outfit. For evening, a smaller

The 27-year-old reality TV star and model previously rocked the pantsless trend during the 2023 Met Gala this past May and again a couple of weeks later when she was photographed by paparazzi leaving a restaurant in New York City.

The “Happier Than Ever” singer made a statement on the carpeted steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where attendees are dressing according to this year’s theme, “in honor of Karl,” which pays tribute to the legacy of late great designer Karl Lagerfeld.

The musician exuded glamour in a custom Simone Rocha ensemble, comprised of a black bustier minidress bedazzled with silver embellishments and a full-length sheer overlay with lace detailing at the high mock neckline and flowing hem.
