UGA student loses $44,000 bracelet in downtown Athens
A female UGA student arrived at the University of Georgia Police station on Nov. 2 to report a $44,000 18-karat Cartier Paved Diamond Love bracelet missing. The student believed that the bracelet would not have easily fallen off of her wrist because it “fit snuggly.”
She said that she had worn it in downtown Athens on Oct. 31 and has not been able to locate it since. She and her friends had visited several establishments on Clayton Street throughout the night, as well as rode back to Brumby Hall in an Uber.

UGAPD reviewed video footage of the female leaving and arriving back at Brumby Hall. She was wearing it when she left, but not when she returned.
