The Best Men’s Jewelry At The Met Gala

In a homage to Karl Lagerfeld’s personal style, the A-lister men were on theme at the MET Gala’s celebration on Monday, May 1, 2023. Lagerfeld loved diamond brooches and fingers full of rings. While some of the celebrities that came out to kick off the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute exhibition, “Karl Lagerfeld: Line of Beauty” wore these with effortless style, others like A$AP Rocky wore diamond and tsavorite cat earrings and ring in a tribute to Lagerfeld’s beloved cat. Fashion designer Zac Posen riffed on Lagerfeld collecting Suzanne Belperron pieces by wearing a vintage Belperron brooch. All the men looked dapper in their tuxedos and jewels, which would have made Lagerfeld proud.

Trevor Noah wore De Beers Enchanted Lotus Diamond Brooch set in 18K white gold.

Ke Huy Quan wore Fred Leighton 18K rose cut diamond chain, black and grey bead chain in blackened gold, antique sterling silver filigree chain, Fred Leighton contemporary and Art Deco diamond rings. He also wore a diamond brooch on his tie.

Rami Malek wore a Cartier Tradition Jabot pin, circa 1927, in platinum, enamel, emeralds, rubies and diamonds, a Tank Louis Cartier watch in 18K yellow gold, a Cartier Collection ring, from 2003 and a pair of Cartier Collection of Panther-Patterned cufflinks, from 2005.

A$ap Rocky wore Boucheron’s Ruban Diamants belt, Wladimir, the Cat stud earrings & ring from Boucheron paved with diamonds and tsavorites, set with tsavorites, black sapphires, quartz, and mother-of-pearl, on white gold in honor of Carl Lagerfeld’s beloved cat. He also wears a diamond bar pin on his lapel.

Simu Liu wore an antique Toni & Chloe Goutal diamond crescent brooch with enamel and diamond flowers and Jacob & Co. diamond necklaces.

Dwayne Wade wore Tiffany HardWear link bracelets with a Tiffany & Co. diamond, platinum, and yellow gold crescent moon brooch.

Fashion Designer Zac Posen wore a Suzanne Belperron gold and diamond brooch as a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, a collector of Belperron.
